SHIATSU COURSE PLANNING

Anyone setting out on a learning path has to consider their resources of time and money. Its a good idea to think about your preferences, too.

Ask yourself:

• Are you a person who likes learning by total immersion? or steady absorption?
• Do you want to jump-start your training with an Intensive, or soak it up gently by the month or the week?
• For your further training, have you the time and capacity to fast-track, combining courses, or will you steadily forge ahead, step by step?

Benefits of the Zen School’s unique approach include
Courses cyclical and ongoing with continuous enrolment. This means you can start any time.
Courses are modular, not time-based. This means you complete modules at your own pace and, if you miss one, pick it up on the next round of the cycle.
Each course offers more than one Attendance Option. You can switch Options whenever you like and without notice.
You can combine courses: Practical + Intermediate, Intermediate + Advanced, or all three: the Combined Course.
Students enrolled on the Advanced or any combination that includes the Advanced can attend or repeat any module at any level at no extra cost.

Attendance Options and Course Completion Times
You have several options for Guided Learning Time attendance for each of the Certificate (CPS), Intermediate Diploma (DIP) and Licence (LIC) courses. The Zen School Prospectus - see the menu on the right - gives timings and costs (including multi-course discounts) and the Course Manuals explain what is required for each course.

Shortest course completion times are:

Weekday complete CPS in 8 weeks, DIP in 6 months/1 year, LIC in one year, COM 18 months/2 years

Weekend CPS in 4 months, DIP in 2 years, LIC in one year, COM 2/3 years

Full-time combining weekdays and weekends, CPS 4 days, DIP 6 months, LIC 6 months, COM 1 year

You can combine payments to get the discounts and make the savings without necessarily combining the courses. The courses can be done consecutively or concurrently - at the pace you choose, and yes you can change if your circumstances change.
